One Day Event for the Release of “Irfan-ul Qur’an” - a unique translation of the Holy Qur’an in Kashmiri language at Shaikh-ul Aalam Centre for Mulidisciplinary Studies (SACMS), University of Kashmir held on 24, March 2022

A Book Release event organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran International India in collaboration with Markaz-i Noor, Shaikh-ul Aalam Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies (SACMS), University of Kashmir, Srinagar was held on 24th March, 2022 in the seminar Hall of the Centre. The book “Irfan-ul Qur’an” which was released on the occasion, is a unique translation of the Holy Qur’an in Kashmiri language. The book is originally written in Urdu language by Hazrat Allamah Dr. Tahir-ul Qadri.
While presiding over the event, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir, Hon’ble Registrar, University of Kashmir who was Chief Guest on the occasion also put in his observations and noted the significance of Kashmiri translation of Holy Qur’an and expressed his desire that more translations of our spiritual heritage should be brought out for the common masses.
Prof. G. N. Khaki, Chairman, Shaikh-ul Aalam Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies, University of Kashmir in his speech highlighted the importance of this translation in contemporary times. He expressed his gratitude to Dr. Tahir-ul Qadri for his contribution towards Islam.
Muhammad Ashraf Zargar, General Secretary, MQI, J&K welcome the guests on the occasion. Other dignitaries who spoke on this occasion included Syed Nade Ali (Director, Minhaj Productions, Inda), Dr. Rafiud Din Makhdoomi, Qazi Abdul Qayoom (Chairman, Shah-i-Hamadan Trust, Pampore), Syed Ishfaq Bukhari (Islamic Scholar), Abdul Hameed Nayeemi (Secretary, Ulama Council, MQI, J&K), Mukhtar Ahmad Tantray, Dr. Arshad ul Qadri (President, MQI, J&K) and Muhammad Ashraf Zargar (Genral Secretary, MQI, J&K). Towards the end, the event was concluded with a dua by Abdul Rashid Khan. The event was attended by a rich contingent of scholars, academicians and others.
